A Message from your Chamber
Family and community… this is what really matters. We hope that you had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend while enjoying your family and loved ones while supporting local businesses by buying your Mother’s Day presents with them.
The passing of our Baltimore County Executive, Kevin B. Kamenetz, was a shock to everyone. He was vibrant and health conscious. He had attended a forum just hours before he fell ill. There was no outward warning. There were no known ailments.
With the shock and sadness of Kevin’s passing, we can all learn from it as well. Your family and friends are here each day, and we may take that for granted. Appreciate each call you get from your family members and friends- it could be their last. Cherish the laughs and tears that we share with them. Tell people how you feel while they can still hear you. And finally, go live your life. Don’t wait until next year to travel or visit people. Don’t hesitate to venture out of your comfortable world. Experience all that life has to offer now, not later.
Father’s Day is coming up next… make it count.
