Shore United Bank is proud to be a community bank – one who supports and is actively involved in their local community. For the past few months, employees have been selling Shore United Bank cookbooks to raise money to donate in honor of GivingTuesday. GivingTuesday is a global giving movement, where companies come together to give back to the communities they serve. Collectively, Shore United Bank will be donating over $7,000 to 23 different non-profit organizations.

Towson District Courthouse scheduled to Move

Towson location closing temporarily due to HVAC system repairs

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. – The Towson District Courthouse, located at 120 E. Chesapeake Avenue in Towson, will close at the end of the business day (4:30 p.m.) on Friday, January 3, 2020, and reopen on Monday, January 6, 2020, at its new temporary location at the new Catonsville District Courthouse, located at 1 Rolling Crossroads in Catonsville.

From Speaker Adrienne Jones

“I would like to invite everyone to join me at the Randallstown Community Center on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for my Annual Toy Drive.

This has always been a great event, and it will be an opportunity to provide toys and food for so many in our community. As always, admission to the event is an unwrapped toy or non-perishable food item. I have attached a flyer with all of the details.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!”

Adrienne A. Jones

I want to thank Reisterstown Improvement Association president Herb Weiss and board members Kathy Gambrill and Mary Molinaro for being champions of the Reisterstown community. Herb, Kathy and Mary attended the County Council’s work session to show their support for the resolution I sponsored that requests Reisterstown Main Street be formally recognized under the Maryland Main Street program

I’m excited to share that road resurfacing along Mardan Drive in Reisterstown started this week and is expected to be completed early next week. This is a particular important project because Mardan Drive is often used as a detour for motorists who access Reisterstown Road via East Cherry Hill Road and Hammershire Road and vice versa.

Road resurfacing is one of the most popular requests our office receives — and for good reason. Every community deserves smooth, safe, drivable and pedestrian-friendly roadways.

In my first year in office, we’ve worked hard to fulfill this important quality-of-life issue, successfully pushing for the completion of projects that impact Pikesville, Reisterstown, Owings Mills, Glyndon, Lutherville-Timonium and Ruxton.

None of this would have been possible without the support of County Executive Johnny Olszewski, who made a record investment of $37 million for road resurfacing and gutter maintenance in this year’s fiscal budget.
