A Message from your Chamber

The Northwest Chamber of Commerce wishes you and your family a happy Independence Day Holiday. We have upcoming cookouts, parades and firework displays to enjoy. It is a time for fun and remembrance. But it is also a time to relax and rejuvenate.

The history of Independence Day is interesting. John Adams believed that July 2nd was the correct date on which to celebrate the birth of American independence and would turn down invitations to appear at July 4th events in protest. Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died on July 4, 1826—the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.

There are many holiday activities throughout Baltimore County and the surrounding areas. Here are two links which can be helpful to find the events nearest to you:

Local Parades

We wish you a safe and fun holiday. But don’t forget to relax! You will come back to work with more focus if you do.
