Although these meetings are open to all, the focus is on Main Street business and property owners. Each meeting discusses issues that affect Main Street businesses and we want to hear your concerns, opinions and solutions. Please join us and help affect positive change along Main Street!
APRIL FOCUS: strategies and incentives to fill vacant and unoccupied buildings along Main Street. RIA will facilitate a conversation and strategy session to drill down into the deeper details and ideas brought up in the first February 2018 Roundtable. Discuss the major priorities for development and focus on gaps in current small business offerings along Main Street and identify follow-up actions we will take to attract and support new small businesses and tenants — both commercial and residential – while bringing additional foot traffic and customers to existing businesses.
FEBRUARY FOCUS: An opportunity to meet RIA’s newly appointed Economic Development Chairman, Brendan Schreiber, and be informed about business and property development priorities and strategies for RIA. We will be expanding our efforts to support existing Main Street businesses and attract new ones, promote sustainable economic growth, and provide resources to business owners.
