No, we are not meaning engaged in marriage. We mean be involved.

People join business groups for different reasons. Most of the time, people are looking for new business opportunities, which is awesome! However, do those people do “the work” to find this new business from the group?

To get the most out of a business group membership, the least that you should do is show-up. Come to the events and you will be surprised on how many times you will find possible referral partners or customers.

But it’s not all about you and your needs. To be successful with any networking or business group comes down to one word; GIVE. Give your time. Give your advice when asked. Give referrals and introductions to others. Like the old saying goes “Give and You Shall Receive”.

Northwest Chamber Members- How are you engaging with this 200+ member business organization? Do you come to events? Do you send in your news or promotions, so we can help to spread the word? Are you on a committee? If you can answer “Yes” to one or more of those questions- GREAT! If you cannot, let us help you.

Apply for up to $5,000 in funds and donations for facade improvements in historic Reisterstown!

Application Deadline: Friday, December 7, 2018. The final guidelines and application for the 2018 Reisterstown Improvement Association’s (RIA) Facade Improvement Grant Pilot Program were officially released to the public on November 9, following several months of public review and revisions. ALL PROSPECTIVE APPLICANTS MUST CONTACT INFO@REISTERSTOWN.COM OR BRENDAN@REISTERSTOWN.COM TO SCHEDULE A PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION WITH THE RIA.

The application and rules can be found attached to this calendar notification, or can be requested directly at info@Reisterstown.com. Up to three awards will be granted in the 2018 round. The Reisterstown-Owings Mills-Glyndon Coordinating Council (ROG) was established in 1973 as a clearinghouse and a coordinating agency for the promotion and advancement of the civic, religious, economic, educational, cultural, and social interests of the ROG communities.
