Summer is here, and so is fun! There are many local events and “happenings” each week which we add to our newsletter. There are other ways to stay in the “loop” as well such as websites which list upcoming events and festivals like Visit Maryland.

The Northwest Chamber of Commerce wants to have fun too! We have our Monthly FREE Lunch & Learn coming up on the 18th , our incredibly popular Annual Crab Feast on August 2nd as well as our Monthly FREE Drop-In Networking Dinner on August 16th. Plus- more will be added before the summer is done.

Reisterstown Improvement Association brings local farmers to the community
Mark your calendars to visit the Main Street lawn of Franklin Middle School each Sunday throughout the summer between 9am and 1pm. For most of its history, Reisterstown’s biggest industry was farming. Many great farms still grace our countryside and our Farmers Market brings their very best to Main Street.

The 1st Sunday of each month there will also be a Flea Market aspect to the event. Throughout the summer our market has hosted varied activities such as cooking classes, children’s activities, yoga demonstrations, and tips for healthy eating on a budget.
