We partnered with the Reisterstown Improvement Association in 2019 and tried a new community event- The Annual Reisterstown Beer & Wine Festival. It was a success- so we are doing it again in 2020!
The Reisterstown Craft Beer Festival brings together some of the best Maryland breweries, wineries, and distilleries in one amazing event. The event features live music, artisans and food celebrating all things Maryland. Admission includes a souvenir tasting cup and unlimited samples from breweries, wineries, and distilleries from around Maryland.
Wine, cocktails, and bottles to take home are available for purchase.
General admission is $30 in advance on Eventbrite/ $40 at the gate.

The Draft Pikesville Revitalization Action Plan
The Draft Pikesville Revitalization Action Plan outlines 10 achievable goals that are geared towards the revitalization of Pikesville’s commercial district. The action plan is currently in draft form and the Department of Planning is seeking additional community feedback through March 13, 2020.
Upon completion, a final action plan will be published, providing project guidance and a path towards the revitalization of Pikesville.

CZMP 2020 Planning Board Public Hearing
On Thursday, March 5 at 6 p.m., the Baltimore County Planning Board will hold a public hearing at Pikesville High School to share its recommendations and solicit public input regarding the 40 Comprehensive Zoning Map Process issues that have been filed in District 2. Public sign-in will begin at 5 p.m. Each person who signs in will get two minutes to speak. Additionally, the Department of Planning asks that you make 20 copies of all the documents that you plan to present.
In a proactive measure to protect and preserve the suburban and rural character that makes the 2nd District beautiful, I filed 13 issues and recommended that 222 acres be downzoned. As I have said all along, any development that happens in the 2nd District must be done with respect to the community, respect to the environment and respect to Main Street(s).
