Our 1st In-Person Networking Event since February
was a HUGE Success!

We had our 1st in-person networking event since COVID at Home2 Suites by Hilton Owings Mills. Kalonnie of Kalonnie’s Gifts and Designs as well as Matt from Best Western Westminster Inn won a free night at our host location!

Everyone had a great time actually seeing people in-person.

Breast cancer affects everyone – it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman. That’s why I’m stepping up to fight breast cancer with all I have. Since I’m in a position to make a difference within my community, I believe I have an obligation to do so. By raising money and awareness through Real Men Wear Pink, I’m helping to save more lives from breast cancer.

Deadline to Register to Vote in 2020 General Election Is Tomorrow
Tomorrow Is also Deadline to Verify Voter Information Online

ANNAPOLIS (Oct. 12, 2020) – The Maryland State Board of Elections reminds state residents that tomorrow is the deadline to register in advance to vote in the 2020 General Election. Tomorrow is also the deadline for Marylanders to update their voter information.

Marylanders wishing to register to vote in advance of the General Election or update their registration information should visit the following web page:

Baltimore County Offers Low-Interest Business Loans
for COVID-19 Losses

Baltimore County has secured funding from the U.S. Economic Development Administration to develop a new low-interest loan fund to help eligible small businesses recover from the pandemic. Loan amounts will range from $50,000 to $250,000 to provide working capital to help businesses rebound from COVID-19 business closures and contractions. Approved borrowers may use the funds for a range of needs including supporting payroll, acquiring equipment and inventory, reconfiguring existing or new space to meet Coronavirus guidelines, capital improvements and more.

The Department of Economic and Workforce Development expects to begin processing loan applications within the next several weeks. If you’re interested in learning more about the loan program, please contact our business development team at covidbizloan@baltimorecountymd.gov.

There has never been a more important time to support families struggling with food insecurity. Making sure people have access to good, nutritious food during this pandemic is a top priority, and I’m really proud of our 2nd District communities for coming together to meet this need.
