The Northwest Chamber of Commerce strongly believes in engaging ourselves, businesses and politicians with our local communities. Having a presence in our communities is important to us, as well as bringing our member businesses and local politicians together with their area’s residents.
Here are a few examples of how we lead by example:
Our President Sally Shapiro-Gould presenting our local Leadership Awards to The Reisterstown Improvement Association as well as developers Greenberg Gibbons at our Annual Breakfast 2018.
Our President, Sally Shapiro-Gould, with Vicki Almond and her granddaughter
Our favorite Summertime Staple – The Chamber’s Annual Crab Feast. We brought together 150 community residents and business leaders at our 2018 crab feast!
Our COO, Kathleen Dorsey, giving out tattoos at Foundry Row’s concerts each summer.
The kids (and an occasional adult) come by our table for a free tattoo each Friday at Music on Main Street in Reisterstown.
Our member, Ristorante Firenze, opened their new Beer Garden in May of 2018. We joined them along with community residents to celebrate.
We are always involved with any commercial development new which effects Owings Mills, Reisterstown, Glyndon, Pikeville and Randallstown.
Our President, Sally Shapiro-Gould, being interviewed by the area’s local news stations at a member’s grand opening.
We bring together local restaurants and caterers with the community residents each year at our popular Taste of the Town even.
