Stevenson University

Summary of Organization/Institution:
Stevenson University, known for its distinctive career focus, is the third-largest independent undergraduate university in Maryland with more than 4,400 students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and adult bachelor’s programs at locations in Stevenson and Owings Mills.  Founded in 1947 as Villa Julie College, Stevenson offers 29 career-focused undergraduate degree programs as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees for working adults through its School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Services to the Community:
Stevenson University offers cultural and education programming such as theatrical performances, concerts, visiting speakers, sporting events as well as volunteer services through student organizations and student interns for various businesses and companies in the area.
